Hypervite Privacy Policy

Event Information

When you create, manage, or respond to an event, we may collect event-related information such as event title, description, date, time, location, guest list, RSVP status, reminders, updates, cancellations, and other information provided by hosts or guests.

Guest Contact Information

Hosts may provide guest contact information, including names, phone numbers, and email addresses, so Hypervite can send invitations, reminders, updates, RSVP prompts, and cancellation notices for specific events.

Hosts are responsible for providing accurate guest contact information and for inviting people they are authorized to contact.

Communications Information

We may collect information related to communications sent through Hypervite, including SMS delivery status, RSVP replies, opt-out requests, support requests, and related message metadata.

Device and Usage Information

We may collect information about how you access and use Hypervite, including device type, operating system, app version, IP address, log data, crash data, and usage activity.

Payment Information

If Hypervite offers paid features, purchases, or subscriptions, payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers or app stores. Hypervite does not store full payment card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve Hypervite;
• create and manage events;
• send event invitations, RSVP prompts, reminders, updates, confirmations, and cancellation notices;
• authenticate users and protect accounts;
• process RSVPs and guest responses;
• provide customer support;
• monitor delivery, reliability, security, and abuse prevention;
• comply with legal, regulatory, and carrier requirements;
• enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Hypervite does not sell user data.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following limited circumstances.

With Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate Hypervite, including hosting providers, SMS providers, authentication providers, storage providers, analytics providers, payment processors, and customer support tools.

These providers may use information only as needed to provide services to Hypervite.

With Event Participants

Event-related information may be visible to hosts and, depending on event settings, invited guests. This may include RSVP status, guest names, event details, updates, and other event coordination information.

For Legal, Safety, and Compliance Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

• comply with legal process;
• protect the rights, safety, or property of Hypervite, users, or others;
• investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or misuse;
• enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Business Transfers

If Hypervite is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a substantially similar policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Hypervite, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.

Event, RSVP, and messaging records may be retained to support event history, delivery troubleshooting, auditability, and abuse prevention.

6. Your Choices

You may be able to update account information through the app.

You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP to a Hypervite SMS message.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Hypervite is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

9. Third-Party Services

Hypervite may rely on third-party services, including SMS delivery, authentication, hosting, storage, app stores, and payment processors. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Hypervite after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
